Jessica Adams
Superwriter astrologer from Australia, Jessica Adams has brought out an excellent new title
Astrology for Women. Currently published by Harper Collins in Australia, it is hoped to
be available in the UK and the USA in the near future. Though Jessica is most well known as a
Sun Sign astrologer in Australia and around the world, (she writes under many pseudonyms), her
new title delineates planets in signs from a feminine point of view. It is one of the best
astrological cook-books to come out for a long time - well written and beautifully laid out for the
student or expert.
Jessica is a phenomenally prolific writer based in Sydney, Australia. She may be coming to live
some of the year in the UK and will no doubt enrich the London astrology scene.
You can view her excellent web site
www.jessicaadams.com with an analysis for each Ascendant.
TEM
Had the pleasure of meeting
Tem Tarriktar, editor of the Mountain Astrologer
at the Whole Life Expo in San Francisco.
TMA, as it is known by
astrologers has been a great success story. From small beginnings, TEM (yes - it can be confusing
with TMA :-) has built up TMA into the foremost, large, colour, glossy-covered, astrology magazine.
All the top names in the field are featured in articles or interviews. It is broad and eclectic -
and prepared to feature very relevant topics outside mainstream astrology like Vedic Astrology, science and astronomy. It also bridges the gap
between being informative enough for astrologers without being too overwhelmingly technical for
the uninitiated.
Dusty Park
Also met up with my old friend, astrologer and computer whizz, Dusty Park. Dusty has now
managed to reduce his Time Capsule, an amazing graphic forecasting system so that it can
be 'played' on a PC and downloaded from diskette or over the net.
Demetra George
Demetra George author of the Asteroid Goddess on her tour of the UK
dropped by the Shop recently. I asked her if these asteroids really worked.
She gave some nice examples. For instance Prince Charles's Venus (15 degrees Libra) was conjunct the asteroid Camelia (within 2')
and Parks (within 15'). Impressive stuff or what?
